Pictures capture the moment for us. They make visible, what may remain invisible in the fraction of a second. The world becomes a little bit more visible and still a lot remains hidden. How do we see the world? Maybe we start simple with what we are seeing when we are looking out of our windows...every view shows a different picture of the world. After holidays, eventually some new window views, collected in the Ukraine - Kiev, Odessa, Kirovograd. But also two new German entries - Bonn and Teterow.

I discovered an exhibition in the Iowa Childrens Museum called «View from my window» and the works try to capture the hope and dreams of children with disabilities as they looked through their windows at what the world holds for them.
